Nile Cruise In Egypt
Egypt Nile Cruise
Cruises can be a great way to travel, and if done well, can remove the stress
of going from place to place and replace it with luxury and relaxation. However,
as many poor tourists can attest to, being on a cruise ship that is not run by a
reliable company or that doesn’t follow proper regulations can make your trip a
horror story not soon to be forgotten.
Below are some of the pro’s and con’s of traveling by ship. Remember that the
most important aspect of a cruise is the company that is running it. If they
have a solid reputation and a good track record then your cruise should be the
trip of a lifetime.
Con’s of traveling by cruise ship
- If you are unhappy with the ship itself or your room, you may have
very limited options. Unlike a hotel, which can be quickly checked out of and
changed, once on a cruise you are expected to stay throughout your trip.
- While most cruise lines have exquisitely prepared food, if you happen to
be on one that doesn’t, you are stuck with that food for your entire trip!
- Some people have weak stomachs and get sea sick when on the water, but you
don’t find out until you try it. If you are one of the unfortunate few that
has sea sickness but doesn’t find out until its too late, you could have a
miserable rest of your trip.
- You go where the ship goes, meaning that you might end up in places that
don’t interest you while not being able to get to others that do.
- A ship is especially susceptible to bad weather and if a storm should come
your way and you weren’t sea sick before, you might be now.
- Bathrooms on cruise ships tend to be very small and bathing facilities are
even smaller. If you are someone who needs to have a large bathroom, then you
may want to pay to upgrade to a nicer room with a tub.
- Disease tends to travel more quickly on ships than in other places due to
the close quarters. There is nothing worse than 1000 people with the flu all
in one place.
Pro’s of traveling by cruise ship
- Many destinations have tons of sights to see, but they are all spread out
and hard to get to. A cruise takes away much of the travel time by moving
while you are asleep so that when you wake up you are already at the next
destination.
- Many cruises employ gourmet chefs that cook fantastic meals every day.
Three times a day you can enjoy the ships amazing food, or venture out when
docked to enjoy the native cuisine.
- Cruises are typically full of amenities. Most cruises have nightly
entertainment and some are even equipped with Casinos, pubs, dance floors and
gyms. Some even offer balls and many have day care and children’s activities
so that parents can enjoy some time alone. Many cruises also have multiple
decks where you can look out over the horizon or enjoy the onboard swimming
pool!
- On a cruise you can see ten different places all miles away from one
another and never have to unpack once because your hotel travels with you!
Traveling by cruise ship can take away the stress of moving from place to
place because the ship does all the work and you can just sit and relax while
it’s happening.
- A cruise is a great way to travel with friends and family. You don’t have
to worry about catching airplanes or arranging to meet up in certain places
because on the ship you all travel together and have the choice of which
activities to do as a group and which to do apart.
